Flower Pot - the origins of these pots come frm the Luo tribes of Kenya. Handpainted scenes of daily life are added by a Kenyan artist An unusual yet typically African soapstone holder. This stone holder has a hollowed outpot like base. These pots are used for many purposes such as holding cancles, storing spices, small flower pot ec. On the outer based of the soapstone holder there is an image of an African painting set with a deeep dark brown background

Soapstone products have become synonymous wth Kissii people because it is the only place in Kenya where these soapstone rock mines covering over 25 squares kilometers are found.
