These bowls are made of teak (hardwood) potashed. We get these bowls from Matopos in Matebeleland region, which is about 500 kilometers away from our location. These bowls are mainly from rural based communities. We have 8 groups each made upf of (+- (-) 15 membersip is fairly distributed. The harvesting of material used in the production of wooden bowls is trctly monitored by Natural Resources Board in Matebeleland region
